New shipping concept - because your Perfect looks good with more sustainability
Sustainability needs attitude - and our attitude is to approach things holistically and then implement them down to the last detail. We are currently converting the shipping of our high-quality tools. Up to now, we used plastic for the holder and for the outer packaging, foam, and plastic tape for shipping preparation. This is cheap, practical, and safe - but not a sustainable answer to the question of how we want to do business in the future. So, we rethought the entire process.
From August 2022, we will use only FSC-certified cardboard packaging for our shipping. For this, we have carefully examined and redesigned all elements. The protective cover for the precision tool consists of three parts: one holds it, the second provides rigidity and fixes it so that it cannot move. The outer packaging, as the third element, reinforces shock resistance and displays the same information as the previous packaging. The packaging chips and the adhesive tape are made of paper.
This means that all packaging is 100 percent recyclable
You simply dispose of it with wastepaper or reuse it. Your advantage: You save waste and avoid waste separation. The advantage for all of us is that the impact on the climate and the environment is reduced. Shipping itself has been completely CO₂-neutral for some time now.
You know us: When a topic moves us, we stay on it
We look at it from all angles, put ourselves in the position of the user, and are only satisfied when the solution fits our requirements perfectly. That's what we do with our products - and that's what we do with the responsible use of our resources.
Kind regards
Your ibb team
Tool cover: a three-part cardboard packaging protects the sensitive device from shocks
Filling chips: recyclable paper replaces the flakes of foamed polyester
Cardboard and packing tapes: sustainable and stable material with high grass content
Shipping: completely climate-neutral due to contractually agreed compensation measures
By the way: Our popular gummy bears also come in sustainable packaging, even if it isn’t paper. A recyclable bag made of special sustainable film keeps them fresh. Look at the QR code printed on the bag: Here you can find out about the climate projects in which we are currently involved.
